Leave of Absence Policy

A leave of absence may be granted by the school director if the student demonstrates good cause. Each student is limited to a maximum of two leaves of absence within a 12-month calendar period, and the total duration of leave cannot exceed 60 calendar days during that period.

School attendance records will specifically note the start and end dates of each leave of absence. Documentation supporting the leave of absence—including a written statement outlining the reasons for the leave, signed by both the student and the school director to indicate approval—will be maintained in the student's permanent file.
