Student Complaints

Complaints are defined as any concerns a student may have regarding school programs, services, or staff. If a student has a school-related concern, they are encouraged to first address it by scheduling a conference with the school director to attempt resolution. If the issue remains unresolved to the student's satisfaction after this conference, the student may then proceed to file a formal written complaint. This complaint must be submitted to the school director, who will conduct a formal investigation, take appropriate action, and respond in writing within 10 business days of receiving the complaint.

Note: It is not mandatory for students to have a conference with the director before filing a formal written complaint.

Notification of Complaint to the Texas Workforce Commission Should a student be dissatisfied with the response from the school director, they have the right to file a complaint with the Texas Workforce Commission. The complaint should be directed to:
