- Course Title – Cosmetology Crossover - 300 hours
- The course is taught in the English language.
- Description of Course
- The purpose of the Cosmetology course is to:
- Train students with barber license to the skills of cosmetology
- Train students in theory in preparation for the job.
- Train students in proper working habits in respect to sanitation, health and safety.
- Encourage self-reliance, initiative, professional ethics, leadership and teamwork.
- The purpose of the Cosmetology course is to:

- The degree of skill and knowledge to be achieved is such that the student, upon completion of the required hours, may enter into the Barber field with skill, speed and knowledge.
- Develop good habits of performing properly in the interest of safety and hygiene for one’s self and others.
- Conduct each technical job assigned in an orderly and professional manner.
- Learn to select wisely, care for and use correctly commercial products related to the application of cosmetology treatments.
- Be encouraged to keep abreast of all new and unique developments in the practice of Cosmetology.
- Become aware of the importance of establishing methodical habits of performance.
- Prepare for the State Board examinations in order to obtain a license to practice all phases of the Cosmetology profession.

- Required Level of Achievement
- Students must maintain a 70% average in Theory.
- Students must maintain a "C" average on all practical procedures. (Please refer to the Satisfactory Progress Policy for additional requirements.)
