Enrollment Checklist

1. Application Process

   • Submit completed nursing application.
   • Provide high school diploma or GED equivalent.
   • Submit official transcripts (including prerequisite courses).
   • Medical Clearance:
     • Submit a doctor’s release certifying eligibility for clinical work.

2. Testing and Interviews

   • Complete entrance exam (e.g., TEAS, HESI).
   • Attend admissions interview (if required).

3. Financial Aid, Scholarships, & VA Benefits

   • Complete FAFSA.
   • Entrance Counseling and MPN at https://studentaid.gov.
   • Apply for scholarships.
   • VA Benefits:
     • Submit Certificate of Eligibility.
     • Verify enrollment status for VA funding.

4. Compliance and Documentation

   • Complete enrollment agreement and submit health forms.
   • Provide immunization records and background check results.
   • Review and acknowledge BON guidelines and policies.

5. Clinical Site Placement & Orientation

   • Confirm clinical placement eligibility through health clearance.
   • Attend nursing orientation.

6. Licensure & Payment Arrangements

   • Submit TWC program approval documentation.
   • Register for courses with academic advisor.
   • Set up tuition payment plan (if needed).
   • Review refund policies and deadlines.
